
Meet the Killer Beez Pro Staff
Jim is the owner of Spot Shooter Archery and Killer Beez archery products. He picked up his first bow in 1993. After 7 years of shooting leagues and bow hunting he wanted to take his shooting to another level. Jim became a student of Terry Wunderle and started shooting tournaments around the state.
In the early days Jim shot 3D and Spot tournaments with his daughter Holly who won the Canadian Nationals and set a national record at 10 years old. Holly now has a Masters degree and works as a social worker. Jim enjoys his time with his girlfriend BIBI who supports him in all of his archery activities. He is a member of Flint Bowmen Archery Club in Grand Blanc, Mi and Oakland County Sportsmen’s Club in Clarkston, MI.
Jim currently is the 2010 National Outdoor Champion, with 60 meter and 70 meter national records and 11 time state champion. He also has 4 state records, and was the 2009 NAA North Region champion. He won 2nd in the Badger Pro-Am in Wisconsin this year and set a NAA national record for the Star FITA Outdoor Compound Master 50+ at Single 70 meters in Renssaeler, IN during the July 2009 tournament.
Jim’s competitive bow setup consists of a Hoyt Vantage Elite with Spiral X cams at 27inch draw 57# ,Killer Beez custom strings, pro tuner rest, sure loc sight, 6x specialty lense, B Stinger 40inch stabilizer, 15 inch B Stinger V bars, both weighted with Killer Beez custom lock weights, Easton 2314 with 5 inch Duravanes weighted with Killer Beez 140 gr. In 2001 I started shooting archery to extend my deer hunting season and consequently entered into competitive indoor archery. I also started shooting 3D archery at our local clubs in the area. Since then I set a Michigan Archer Association record in the amateur senior division, with a 300-58X on the NFAA 5 spot. I was invited to join the senior male professional ranks in 2006.
I shot the 2010 Lancaster Classic in the Championship Masters class and came in first. In 2009 I competed in the World Archery festival In Las Vegas in the Senior Male Championship Division. I won that competition with an 899-73X score. In 2009 I finished 7th at the First Dakota Classic in Yankton S.D.
As well as winning dozens of archery leagues, here are a few of his accomplishments. He has more than 20 MI state championships, 5 US North region championships, 2 National Championships and currently holds 5 US National records in Star FITA Outdoor Compound Master 50+.
In December 2007, I finished 2nd to Steve Boylan in the Presley’s Midwest Open in Peoria Ill. In the 2008 Presley’s Midwest Open I again finished 2nd to Steve Boylan by 1 point. In 2008, I competed in the Iowa Pro Am and finished 2nd . In 2009 I competed again in the Iowa Pro Am and finished 2nd to Steve Boylan by 1 point. In 2009, I competed at Louisville in the NFAA Nationals and finished 3rd after a shoot off with Steve Boylan.

James Harden of Davie, FL, picked up archery in college in 1979. He was later injured in 1992 in Hurricane Andrew, which caused him to take some time off. He began shooting again in 1999 and hasn’t been able to stop since. He’s been competing in 3D and paper for the last several years. He retired in April of 2009 after serving more than 28 years as a law enforcement officer in South Florida. Now that he’s retired, it gives him the time he needs to concentrate on archery.
James is currently a staff shooter for Archery’s Best Edge, which is a pro shop located in Miami, Florida. He’s also sponsored by National Armory in Pompano Beach, FL. They allow me to shoot indoors in the gun range when the weather is bad. I also belong to two archery clubs, Gold Coast Archers, located in Palm Beach County, FL and Everglades Archers, in Miami, FL. Also sponsored by Dr. Paul Grillo of Correct Care Chiropractic located in Coral Springs, Florida. "He keeps me shooting straight!"
My indoor bow setup consists of a Alpine Concorde Target, #50, 30.5”, Trophy Taker SS Pro rest, Axcel Tournament sight with a 4x Sure Loc scope, B-Stinger stabilizers, My arrows are Easton 2314’s with Killer Beez custom Stinger points.

Mike Jablonski, of Bay City, MI, has been involved in archery for the better part of his life. For the past three years, he’s been shooting on a competitive level and is a member of the local Bowmen’s Club, Michigan Archery Association and the NFAA.
Mike is currently shooting a Mathews Triumph with Doinker’s new fatty system. It’s also set up with: CBE Target Elite sight; Trophy Taker Rest; Scotts Longhorn Release and Carbon Express arrows.

Derrick Poet has been shooting competitively for 16 years and currently shoots Pro Staff for PSE Elite, Carbon Express and Truball/Axcel.
